Our
pads are fully compacted and warranted.
Retaining
walls are "damp proofed and have weep holes to
assure proper drainage and to avoid build up in hydrostatic
pressure.
All
sites are fenced and locked for security.
Footings
are engineered and installation is checked to make
sure proper amount of steel is used. Stem walls are
steel reinforced as well.
All
underground supply lines are insulated with foam to
keep water temperatures consistent and to protect against
wear. All supply lines throughout the home are copper.
All
plumbing pipes are secured with extra bracing and protective
plates are installed prior to drywall.
HVAC
ducts are protected with plastic to minimize dust and
trash in the ductwork during construction. Ducts are
also tested for leaks, the number one energy waster.
All
windows are protected with a plastic coating to minimize
scratching.
Insulation
fills all of the voids in the wall and sill sealer
is used to seal gaps between the floor and the sill
plate.
All
framing is 16" on center.
All
houses are wrapped in Dupont Tyvek stucco wrap and
all windows are wrapped in Tyvek Flex wrap to minimize
the possibility of leaks and moisture penetration while
allowing the house to "breathe".
All
sloped roofs have 90 Ib. paper under the tile. This
provides you with a class A roof even before the tile
goes on.
Warranty
Every
Carlson Home is warranted for workmanship and materials
for two years. Appliances purchased with the home and
all mechanical systems have an extended warranty for
five years. A ten year warranty is provided on structural
components backed by HBW the
nations largest warranty company. Ask
